Christmas Gifts Ideas From Penny Essentials
And no, I’m not talking about Christmas sales.
The best thing about the season is that everybody makes time for each other.
Family and friends. In-laws and outlaws. Neighbours and colleagues.
Over zoom or over the dinner table.
For me, Christmas is a time of disconnecting (from our devices) and reconnecting with people.
Moments where we share our joys, hopes, dreams, fears, and worries.
Marinated with lots of scrumptious food.
Sprinkled with laughter as you reach for a second helping of the alcohol-laden fruit cake.
Somebody asked why we don’t have a Christmas tree in our house.
I don’t know. It’s never really been a thing at our place. However, we (Andrew and I) love looking at other people’s décor!
What I do know is that this year’s gathering will be smaller.
The food, I’m assured, will be nothing less than spectacular.
(As you can tell, I’m oblivious to the menu and looking forward to be both surprised and delighted when the chef brings it to the table).
If you’re anything like me, you’re busy looking for presents and gifts.
I have a few suggestions in that department.
No prizes for guessing what it’s going to be about ?
